Power Technology Solutions Ltd is limited Liability company established in 2010, Company Registration No: C88419 ,private owned Kenyan company operating from its heads quarters based in Nairobi. PTSL is IPP renewable energy company with primary specialization in HYDRO ENERGY projects in Kenya. PTSL has been pioneer in hydro power IPP and producing power with 0.65MW plant and connected to KPLC grid since 2015 with 20 years Power Purchase Agreement PTSL has been developing few key Hydro projects in river sagana 10MW and Hybrid solar and Hydro projects in Nyeri County in Kenya and has been doing various feasibility studies across Kenya where hydro potential is available. PTSL has been engaging with top technology providers to get best technology, cost effective power plants for sustainable corporate growth ,Employment creation and contribute considerable GDP contributions to Kenya.
Present Project Development
Developing 10MW with 3×4 MW hydro turbines across river Sagana at Mukureinne area ,nyeri county . This hydro power project is equipped with high end technology with a aim of completing construction in 2020 with a commercial Operation Date of 2021 December as per signed bankable PPA with KPLC is in place. The project has obtained all relevant approvals and studies has been conducted as per local regulations, Ministry of Energy ,EPRA and KPlc guidelines . The project is located in Nyeri county which will bring major Economic and social development in Karatina area which is 7KM from Nyeri -Karatina junction.

Employment and Social Welfare
PTSL has committed to bring down carbon emissions through green energy technologies and a least cost power development in sub-Saharan AfricaThe upcoming project will directly employ over 300 local workforce in various categories including engineers, technicians, artesians, plumbers, electricians, casual labors and othersDue to enhanced economic activity around the area there will be 2000 plus indirect employment opportunities will be created which will raise the living standards of all those citizens The project will bring greater economic boom to Kenyan economy and substantial contribution to its GDP
PTSL has committed to create social welfare projects like creating adequate riparian land agriculture by youth and women, Fishing/ Boat equipment to enhance blue economy , Vegetable and fruit plantation seedlings farm and other agro based developments. PTSL has further committed to do a pilot program of FOOD KIOSK thru the agro developments across the river banks in Nyeri –Gatiki area first of its kind in Africa for a meal less than 0.25US Cents at a cost to cost basis to farmers and senior citizens and physically challenged people.
