Afrinol Holdings Ltd is limited Liability company established in 2016, Company Registration No : PVT/2016/005624 ,private owned Kenyan company operating from its heads quarters based in Nairobi. AHL is an investment company in Agriculture and Animal development company with primary specialization organic food produce, fertilizer, bio waste convertor, Solar power producer, and Animal / meat exporting company. AHL has created a SPV namely Tana Biomass Ltd which has been developing few Biogas & Solar Hybrid projects in Tana River County in Kenya and has been doing various feasibility studies in Uganda, Tanzania ,Rwanda ,Burundi ,South Sudan, Somalia and IN DRC. AHL has been developing highly sustainable food security and renewable energy projects with lease land of 15000 HA , to be developed in 2500HA Blocks. This is under Government of Kenya flagship project ,Vision 2030 Development ,BIG 4 Agenda.
Present Project Development
Developing large scale, high social impact ,food security Agriculture project in 1500Hectare at Kitangale Ranch in Tana River County ,Kenya with a aim of completing Phase 1 of Agriculture and Biogas &Solar power in 2021 with a commercial Operation Date of 2022June ,upon signing a bankable PPA and getting GoK support letter. This project by AHL is modeled on modern technology across all enterprise to guarantee high efficiency and productivity. Agriculture operations shall be fully mechanized ,state of Art technology ,lateral move irrigation systems along with various in house Dams and Canals across the entire land Sweet Sorghum, Soya bean, Suflower,shall be of major Crops along with rotational crops Livestock Enterprise shall be consisting of beef cattle, commercial broiler,goat &Sheep production with world class standards and majorly export to neighbouring countries .
Employment and Social Welfare
SSL has committed to bring down carbon emissions through green energy technologies and a least cost power development in sub-Saharan Africa The upcoming project will directly employ over 500 local workforce in various categories including engineers, technicians, artesians, plumbers, electricians, casual labors and others Due to enhanced economic activity around the area there will be 2000 plus indirect employment opportunities will be created which will raise the living standards of all those citizens The project will bring greater economic boom to Kenyan economy and substantial contribution to its GDP. SSL has committed to create social welfare projects like creating adequate road networks, street lighting, borehole ,primary school and clinics SSL has further committed to do a pilot program of SME park in Kericho which shall bring over 100 Cottage industries who will support the agriculture ,tea estate equipmens , organic fertilizer machinery , other necessary sme participants and shall spread to rest of neighboring counties.
